Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver course at Ocean Friends Diving is your next step to unlocking deeper and more diverse underwater exploration. This program is designed to build upon your Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to safely reach depths of up to 30 meters. You will participate in five specialized dives, each focusing on a different aspect of advanced diving, such as deep diving, underwater navigation, and buoyancy control. Our experienced instructors, certified by PADI, RAID, and SSI, will guide you through refining your skills and gaining the confidence needed for more challenging dives. This course is structured to provide practical experience in real diving conditions, enhancing your overall comfort and competence beneath the waves.

While the specific dive sites are tailored to current conditions and student interests, the training typically involves exploring local reefs and walls that showcase the marine biodiversity of the region. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning, ensuring you gain practical knowledge in areas like wreck diving or night diving, depending on your chosen specialties. Ocean Friends Diving offers instruction in German, English, and Spanish, ensuring a comfortable learning experience for a diverse range of international divers.
