Опис курсу
CTdiver is offering the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), a professional-level program designed to cultivate elite dive instructors. This comprehensive course goes beyond the standard PADI IE preparation, integrating practical teaching experience and insights into the daily operations of a dive center. Led by the region's only female Course Director, the IDC at CTdiver ensures graduates are not just certified but truly job-ready. The curriculum covers essential teaching methodologies, dive theory, risk management, and sales techniques, preparing candidates to effectively lead and inspire future divers. Candidates will engage in knowledge development, practice teaching in confined and open water, and participate in rescue scenarios, building a robust skill set.
The PADI IDC program at CTdiver includes crucial Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor training, equipping participants with the ability to teach vital emergency response skills. This dual certification empowers instructors to handle a wider range of training scenarios and emergencies. The course structure emphasizes hands-on application, with candidates practicing skills in both controlled environments and real-world open water conditions. The focus is on developing confident and competent instructors capable of upholding PADI's high standards.
To enroll in the PADI IDC, candidates must meet specific prerequisites, including being a PADI Divemaster with at least 80 logged dives. They must also have completed specific specialty dives such as night, deep, and navigation, and hold current EFR certification. The program duration is approximately 15 days, though this can be flexible based on individual progress and learning pace. The IDC fee covers the training, air fills, and necessary IDC/EFR materials, providing a solid foundation for aspiring instructors. Additional costs are associated with the Instructor Examination (IE), application fees, and PADI membership.
CTdiver's commitment to developing top-tier dive professionals is evident in their IDC program. By integrating real-world dive center operations and focusing on practical application, they prepare candidates thoroughly for the demands of teaching diving. The opportunity to learn from the region's only female Course Director adds a unique perspective and mentorship to the program. This IDC is the definitive step for experienced divers looking to transition into a rewarding career as a PADI Instructor, opening doors to dive centers worldwide.
