Discover Scuba Diving (Schnuppertauchen)

A one-day introduction to scuba breathing with no prior experience required. At Kappi-Divers in Weetzen, the session runs under direct instructor supervision and gives participants their first experience breathing underwater in a controlled setting.

No certification is issued at the end — this is strictly a try-dive, not a qualification. It's well suited to anyone who wants to check whether diving is for them before committing to a full Open Water Diver course.

Equipment is included in the €49 price, so participants arrive with nothing and leave with a genuine sense of what scuba feels like. The minimum age is 10 years.

For children between 10 and 15 there is a dedicated Junior Discover Scuba Diving programme at the same price, running under the same conditions with PADI-certified supervision.
