The SSI Adventure Diver course at Relaxed Guided Dives is your next step beyond basic certification, offering a structured pathway to explore three distinct areas of specialty diving. This program is designed for certified Open Water Divers looking to expand their underwater horizons and gain practical experience under the guidance of an SSI Instructor. You will complete three specific adventure dives, chosen from a wide array of SSI Specialty Programs, allowing for a personalized learning experience tailored to your interests and the local diving conditions.

Commonly selected adventure dives include Deep Diving, Underwater Navigation, and Night Diving, each providing unique skills and insights. The Deep Diving adventure dive, for example, will introduce you to the procedures and considerations for diving safely to depths of up to 30 meters (100 feet), a significant increase from your initial certification limits. Underwater Navigation will hone your ability to orient yourself and your buddy, ensuring you can confidently explore new sites. Night Diving opens up a different world of marine life and behaviors that are only visible after sunset.

Upon successful completion of these three adventure dives, you will be awarded the SSI Adventure Diver certification. This qualification signifies that you have gained valuable experience in varied diving environments and techniques, enhancing your confidence and competence as a diver.
