The Twindolphins Open Water Diver course is your official certification to explore the underwater world independently, recognized globally under ISO standards. This foundational program allows you to dive with a buddy anywhere in the world, adhering to a maximum depth of 18 meters for individuals aged 15 and above. The curriculum is structured to build your confidence and skills progressively, starting with theoretical knowledge acquisition through self-study materials, either a physical book or an online platform. This theoretical phase is crucial for understanding diving principles before practical application.

Following the self-study, you will attend classroom sessions at Twindolphins, where instructors clarify concepts and answer all your questions, culminating in a knowledge-based test. The practical training begins in controlled, shallow water environments, such as a pool, to master essential diving skills safely. Twindolphins enhances the standard training by including two additional full dives beyond the minimum requirements. These extra dives are designed to solidify your skills and build significant confidence, often conducted on the same day as your pool sessions.

Practical training can take place at facilities like Sams Diving Goch or a combination of indoor and natural water environments, depending on the chosen program. Alternatively, Twindolphins offers the flexibility to complete the entire course abroad, tailored to your preferences. The course fee starts at 484 EUR and typically includes essential elements such as transfers to dive sites, all learning materials (online or book), equipment rental, and necessary entry fees, providing a comprehensive package for your certification.
