Advanced Course

The Advanced Open Water Diver course at La Graciosa Divers is designed to build upon your existing open water skills, introducing you to new types of diving and enhancing your underwater capabilities. This course focuses on expanding your diving experience within the rich environment of the Chinijo Archipelago Marine Reserve. Through a series of five adventure dives, you will explore different diving specialties. Typically, this includes an orientation dive, a deep dive to explore depths beyond 18 meters, and a navigation dive to hone your underwater orientation skills. The remaining dives can be chosen based on interest, such as drift diving, night diving, or underwater photography, depending on what the center offers and conditions allow.

Each dive is supervised by an instructor who will guide you through the specific objectives and techniques of the chosen specialties. The course aims to increase your confidence, improve your buoyancy, and develop your ability to plan and execute dives in various conditions. Upon completion, you will be certified to dive to greater depths, typically 30 meters, and gain a broader understanding of the underwater world.
