Project AWARE Marine Conservation

The PADI Project AWARE Marine Conservation specialty course, offered by Dive Spirit Mauritius, is designed to equip divers with the knowledge and motivation to protect our oceans. This program focuses on understanding the critical threats facing marine ecosystems, such as pollution and climate change, and empowers participants to become active advocates for ocean preservation. You will learn about responsible diving practices and how your actions can contribute positively to the health of the underwater world.

This specialty delves into key environmental issues impacting marine life and explores the tangible actions divers can undertake to make a difference. The course emphasizes fostering a deeper connection with the ocean, inspiring a commitment to conservation efforts. It aims to transform divers into stewards of the marine environment, understanding their role in its protection.

The curriculum includes two essential open water training dives. Upon successful completion, you will be certified as a PADI Project AWARE Specialist.
