Upgrade von SSI Pool auf SSI Freediver

The SSI Freediver course at Niklinder Dive Center builds on the skills learned in the SSI Pool Freediver course and focuses on practical application in open water. In a single day, participants will complete two open water dives to demonstrate their newly acquired skills. Successful completion of the SSI Pool Freediver course is a prerequisite for participation. Upon successful completion, participants will receive the SSI Freediver certification, formerly known as Freediver 1. Niklinder Dive Center is a certified SSI center, ensuring training according to internationally recognized standards.

The water temperatures in the region where Niklinder Dive Center is located vary significantly throughout the year. While the summer months, with average air temperatures around 20 °C, offer pleasant conditions, water temperatures drop to as low as 2.9 °C during the winter months. This requires appropriate diving equipment depending on the season, such as a drysuit for the colder months. Visibility can also vary, but is generally good for open water exercises. Niklinder Dive Center thus offers a challenging but rewarding environment for further development as an SSI Freediver.
