Level 1 Freediver

The Level 1 Freediver course at Freedive SG is your gateway to exploring the underwater world with confidence and safety. This introductory program is meticulously designed to teach you the fundamental techniques and knowledge required to safely descend to depths between 10 and 16 meters. You will gain a deep understanding of your own physiology and respiratory systems, crucial for enhancing breath-hold efficiency and overall freediving performance. The curriculum focuses on improving respiration, increasing muscle flexibility, and mastering essential skills for your freediving journey.

Key modules delve into how water pressure affects the body during apnea and teach you to adapt comfortably without scuba gear. You'll learn vital equalization techniques and receive thorough instruction on risk management and rescue methods, ensuring you become a responsible and safe freediver. Breathing and relaxation techniques are central to achieving the calm mental and physical state necessary for successful freediving.

This comprehensive 2-day course, starting at 8:30 am, requires participants to be able to swim continuously for 200 meters. The price of 570 SGD includes your certification, all necessary course materials, and the rental of a mask and fins. Certification is available through recognized agencies such as PADI Freediver, Molchanovs Wave 1, SSI Level 1 Freediver, and Apnea International Stage A. Pool sessions are held at the Singapore Swimming Pool, with open water dives conducted in Singapore's local waters.

Freedive SG offers flexibility with group discounts available, making it an excellent opportunity for friends to embark on this aquatic adventure together. A minimum of 2 participants is required to commence the course. Prior self-study is expected to maximize your learning experience during the intensive two-day program.
