SCUBA Tune-up / Reactivate

The PADI Reactivate program, also known as a SCUBA Tune-up, offered by Aquatech Diving Centre, is specifically designed for certified divers who have been out of the water for a period and wish to refresh their scuba knowledge and skills. This course ensures you feel comfortable and confident before your next diving adventure or advanced training. It's an efficient way to regain your diving proficiency and prepare for future underwater exploration.

This program combines self-study through PADI's eLearning system with a practical pool session led by a PADI professional. You will review key skills from your initial Open Water Diver course, making it an ideal preparation for an upcoming dive holiday or if you're considering further PADI certifications. The session is scheduled for Monday evenings, with participants meeting at the dive centre at 18:45 for equipment fitting, followed by pool diving activities from 20:00 to 21:30.

During the pool session, you'll practice essential scuba skills in a controlled environment. Aquatech Diving Centre provides all necessary scuba equipment, covers pool entry fees, and includes instructor tuition. A logbook endorsement is also provided. Upon successful completion, you will receive a reactivated qualification eCard, confirming your refreshed diving competence. The price for this comprehensive tune-up is £75.

Prior to the course, all participants must complete the PADI Medical Statement. If any 'Yes' answers are indicated on the statement, medical approval is required before you can participate. This refresher is highly recommended for any diver looking to rebuild their confidence and ensure their skills are up-to-date.
