Über das Zentrum
Gerda's Dive Shop in München ist seit 1992 eine feste Größe in der Tauchgemeinschaft. Sie bieten eine umfassende Palette an Tauchkursen an, die von PADI, SSI und TDI zertifiziert sind, darunter Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox und Schnorcheln. Der Shop bietet auch wichtige Dienstleistungen wie Ausrüstungsverleih, Luftfüllungen (einschließlich Nitrox) und Einrichtungen für das Tauchen vom Ufer aus.
Zu ihren Einrichtungen gehören ein Schwimmbad, das sich ideal für Training und Übungen eignet, und eine Bar, die als sozialer Treffpunkt für Taucher dient. Gerda's Dive Shop organisiert aktiv Veranstaltungen und Ausflüge und nutzt neue Kommunikationsplattformen, um Kunden auf dem Laufenden zu halten und die Interaktion zu verbessern, um eine dynamische Tauchgemeinschaft zu gewährleisten.

Neben dem Tauchen unterstützt Gerda's Dive Shop auch Schnorchelbegeisterte mit speziellen Schulungen. Ergänzend zu ihrem Präsenzangebot bieten sie eLearning-Kurse von PADI und SSI an, die ein flexibles Lernen jederzeit und überall ermöglichen.

Apnoe Kurs (Freediving) mit Daniel
The apnea programme is run by Daniel Pitzke, SSI Instructor, and combines two pool sessions with one full open water day. At €245 for the complete course, it sits comfortably alongside the shop's scuba curriculum as a standalone option — not just an add-on for already-certified divers. Pool sessions give you the basic breath-hold and equalisation technique in a controlled environment before moving to open water. The lake setting for open water — likely the Tegernsee area given the shop's base there — offers calm, cold water conditions that are typical for Bavarian freediving. This is a relatively new addition to the Gerda's programme, taught independently from the main PADI/SSI scuba track. Bookings go through the shop directly at 089/161465. No prior dive certification is required for the apnea course specifically, though the standard VDST medical requirement applies across all Gerda's programmes.
