Course Description
The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) at Bali Diving Academy is your essential step towards becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. This professional-level program is meticulously designed to hone your teaching capabilities, covering the effective delivery of dive theory, confined water skill demonstrations, and open water training dives. You will refine your leadership qualities and presentation skills to meet professional PADI standards. Bali Diving Academy, often conducting this program in the scenic environment of Lembongan, provides a dedicated setting for this intensive training.
The curriculum delves into PADI's educational philosophy, standards, and procedures. Participants will practice presenting knowledge development topics, mastering confined water skill demonstrations, and managing open water training scenarios. The course emphasizes developing strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to motivate and guide student divers. The experienced PADI Course Directors at Bali Diving Academy offer in-depth guidance and support throughout this rigorous program.
To enroll in the IDC, candidates must hold a PADI Divemaster certification or an equivalent rating, possess a minimum number of logged dives, and maintain current Emergency First Response (EFR) training. This course is structured to thoroughly prepare you for the PADI Instructor Examination (IE), the final assessment conducted by PADI staff, and for a successful career in dive education. Bali Diving Academy is a PADI-certified center, ensuring the highest quality of instruction.
Upon successfully completing the IDC and passing the IE, you will be a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, qualified to teach a full spectrum of PADI courses.
