Formation Secourisme RIFAP

The RIFAP is a mandatory first-aid certification in the FFESSM system and a prerequisite for the Niveau 3 at Corsica Sub. It covers the emergency procedures specific to diving accidents — not generic first aid, but the actions required during and immediately after a dive incident. Training includes hands-on work with a resuscitation mannequin, a defibrillator, and oxygen therapy equipment.

The course runs over two half-days: one dive session and one classroom module. The price is 110€ including certification. Minimum age is 16; minors need parental consent. A medical certificate of no contraindication to diving is required. The RIFAP can be completed independently of other courses and is often done in preparation for Niveau 3 training.
