Wreck diving

Explore the mysteries of submerged history with the Wreck Diving specialty course from Lux Divers. This SSI certification is designed for certified divers who want to understand the challenges and rewards of exploring underwater historical wrecks. You will gain the knowledge and skills needed to plan and conduct wreck dives safely and responsibly, learning about wreck identification, risks such as entanglement or reduced visibility from sediment, and effective navigation techniques.

Practical training includes actual wreck dives, guided by experienced Lux Divers instructors. You will practice assessing structural integrity, identifying entry and exit points, and mastering navigation around and within wreck structures.

Lux Divers offers this SSI-certified specialty, allowing you to participate confidently in guided wreck dives and plan your own explorations within the limits of your training and local regulations. The center offers classes in English and Spanish.
