Course Description
The "Decompression Diving" course offered by Abyss Diving Center is an advanced technical path designed for divers who wish to acquire the skills necessary to plan and execute dives requiring decompression stops. This program, part of TSA training, focuses on safety procedures, desaturation calculations, and the use of specific equipment to safely manage depth and time limits. Practical sessions are conducted at selected dive sites that allow for the simulation of real decompression scenarios, ensuring that students develop a solid understanding of the techniques required for these more complex dives. Abyss Diving Center, based in Italy, is certified by recognized bodies such as FEDAS and IDEA, ensuring high teaching standards.
Diving at Abyss Diving Center takes place in a marine environment that offers variable conditions throughout the year. Water temperature, for example, can drop to around 12°C in winter months like January and December, suggesting the use of drysuits for comfort, while in summer it reaches 27-28°C in July and August, making lighter dives possible. Visibility and local marine life vary, but the region is known for offering interesting diving experiences that lend themselves to learning decompression techniques. The center operates in Italian and Spanish, facilitating the participation of an international audience, and boasts an excellent Google rating of 4.7 stars, based on numerous reviews attesting to its quality and professionalism.
