Open Water Diver – Corso Base

The Open Water Diver Course – Basic Course at Abyss Diving Center is the ideal starting point for anyone wishing to obtain international scuba diving certification. This comprehensive program includes in-depth theoretical lessons, practical sessions in confined water to familiarize yourself with equipment and safety procedures, and four open water dives. Upon completion of the course, you will hold a certification recognized by agencies such as IDEA, WDA, or TSA, which will enable you to explore the underwater world up to a maximum depth of 18 meters. Abyss Diving Center, located in a spot offering favorable marine conditions, will guide you step by step on this underwater adventure, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning experience.

The training dives take place at selected sites that allow appreciation of local marine life, with varying depths offering different observation opportunities. Water temperature varies significantly throughout the year: averages of 12.1°C are recorded in January, rising to 27.4°C in August, and then dropping again to 12.3°C in December. This seasonal variability suggests that, during the colder months (such as January, February, March, November, and December, with temperatures between 12.1°C and 13.7°C), appropriate equipment, such as a thicker or dry suit, may be recommended to ensure maximum comfort. The center operates with FEDAS and IDEA certifiers, ensuring high standards and global recognition for your certification.
