Wreck Diving

The SSI Wreck Diving specialty course at this center provides the foundational knowledge and skills to safely explore submerged historical sites. You will complete a minimum of two wreck dives, focusing on techniques for navigating around and inside wrecks, understanding potential hazards, and proper equipment configuration for wreck penetration. The training emphasizes wreck reconnaissance, site assessment, and the responsible exploration of these underwater time capsules. This specialty is conducted under the certification standards of SSI, a globally recognized agency.

The dive sites chosen for this course offer excellent opportunities to witness the transformation of shipwrecks and aircraft into vibrant artificial reefs. The local waters maintain a comfortable sea temperature of approximately 25.7°C, making diving enjoyable throughout the year. While specific visibility can vary, the marine life attracted to these structures, including various fish species and invertebrates, provides a dynamic environment for observation and photography. The course aims to equip you with the confidence to approach wreck diving sites with respect and preparedness.
