Course Description
The PADI Open Water Diver certification at Dive Club Maldives provides a thorough introduction to scuba diving, preparing you for independent exploration up to 18 meters. This entry-level course covers essential knowledge development, confined water dives to master basic skills, and four open water dives. These practical sessions are conducted in the clear waters surrounding the Maldives, offering excellent conditions for learning. Dive Club Maldives is a PADI-certified training center, ensuring your certification meets global standards.
The Maldives offers consistently warm water temperatures throughout the year, typically ranging from 27-30°C, making it comfortable for diving. Visibility is generally excellent, often exceeding 30 meters, allowing for clear views of the vibrant marine ecosystems. During your open water dives, you can expect to encounter diverse coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, and potentially larger marine life. The shallow, sandy bottoms and protected areas often used for training dives provide a safe and engaging environment for new divers to build confidence and practice their newly acquired skills.
