Course Description
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is the natural progression for certified Open Water divers seeking to enhance their underwater skills and explore more. At Scuba World Diving Mauritius, this program is designed to build confidence and expand your diving capabilities through five PADI Adventure Dives. Two core dives are mandatory: Underwater Navigation, which sharpens your orientation skills, and Deep Diving, introducing you to safe techniques for exploring depths down to 30 meters. This depth increase is a key benefit, allowing access to a wider range of dive sites.
Beyond the core dives, you have the flexibility to choose three additional Adventure Dives tailored to your interests. Popular options often include Peak Performance Buoyancy for improved air consumption and control, Night Diving to experience the nocturnal marine world, Drift Diving for effortless exploration of currents, and Wreck Diving to discover submerged historical sites. This variety ensures a personalized learning experience, allowing you to discover new diving passions and refine specific skills under professional guidance.
Scuba World Diving Mauritius conducts this advanced training using the diverse dive sites available in the region. For the Deep Diving component, experienced instructors will guide you to sites like Colorado and Roche Zozo, known for their depth and marine life. The focus is on practical application and gaining real-world experience, ensuring you become a more competent and comfortable diver. This certification is recognized worldwide, opening doors to more challenging dives and activities.
This course is an essential step for divers aiming to progress in their journey and gain a deeper understanding of the marine environment. The hands-on learning approach at Scuba World Diving Mauritius ensures you are well-prepared for future adventures. By completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you not only increase your depth rating but also refine your overall diving techniques, becoming a more skilled and confident underwater explorer.
