Underseas Sports offers the SSI Open Water Diver Group Course, an ideal entry point for aspiring scuba divers. This SSI-certified program meticulously combines theoretical knowledge from classroom sessions with essential practical skills developed in pool training. The curriculum is structured to ensure participants gain confidence and competence underwater before venturing into open water environments. Upon successful completion, graduates will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification, unlocking access to global diving locations.

The course emphasizes hands-on learning, utilizing high-quality equipment provided by Underseas Sports. This includes modern regulators with computer consoles, weight-integrated Buoyancy Control Devices (BCDs), and reliable scuba cylinders. Wetsuits are provided for comfort in varying water temperatures, allowing students to focus on mastering diving techniques. Training is conducted from a USCG approved dive boat, ensuring a professional and safe learning experience.

Participants are responsible for providing their own mask, snorkel, fins, and dive boots. To assist with this, Underseas Sports offers a 10% discount on gear purchases for the class and special student gear packages for greater savings. This policy ensures new divers are properly equipped from their initial dives.

Underseas Sports operates with a "no hidden costs" policy, allowing students to focus on their learning without unexpected financial burdens. They also provide bonus incentives, such as a $100 credit towards future classes for in-store visits and discounts on subsequent certifications like Nitrox if booked shortly after initial certification. Semi-private and private class options are available at an additional fee for those seeking a more personalized learning pace.
