Try Scuba Experience

Azul Diving Center offers an exceptional introduction to the underwater world with their Try Scuba program, designed for absolute beginners. This experience begins with a comprehensive theory briefing at the center's classroom, covering essential safety protocols and fundamental diving principles. Following the theoretical session, participants will acclimate to scuba equipment and practice basic skills in a controlled swimming pool environment. The program culminates in an exciting open water dive, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), allowing you to explore the vibrant marine life of Madeira.

The Try Scuba experience at Azul Diving Center provides a safe and supervised first encounter with scuba diving. The ocean dive, lasting approximately 45 to 50 minutes, offers a chance to experience the sensation of weightlessness and witness the unique underwater landscapes of Madeira. This introductory dive is perfect for holidaymakers seeking a new adventure and a memorable way to connect with the marine environment. The goal is to make your first breath underwater an inspiring and enjoyable moment.

Azul Diving Center is equipped to support divers in multiple languages, including German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese, ensuring clear communication and a comfortable learning experience for a diverse range of international visitors. They are certified by leading agencies such as CMAS, IDEA, PADI, and SSI, reflecting their commitment to high standards in diver training and safety. This allows participants to trust in the quality of instruction and the safety measures in place during their introductory dive.

Included in the Try Scuba package are the theory briefing, pool session, open water dive, complete scuba diving equipment rental, and a Certificate of Recognition upon successful completion. Participants must be at least 12 years old and be able to swim. It is important to note that this experience is not suitable for pregnant travelers or individuals with certain pre-existing medical conditions, so please consult the center if you have any concerns.
