Course Description

The PADI Divemaster course at Nemotauchsport AG is your essential first step into the professional diving world, designed to transform your passion into a leadership role. This program significantly deepens your understanding of dive physics, physiology, and equipment, preparing you for the responsibilities of guiding and assisting. You will complete 11 theory modules, engage in 3 pool training blocks focusing on skill refinement and stamina, and undertake 8 open water dives. These practical sessions cover crucial areas like search and recovery, rescue scenarios, deep diving techniques, and demonstrating dive leadership. The course is conducted under the PADI certification system, ensuring globally recognized standards.

While specific dive site details are tailored during your personal consultation, the open water dives are structured to build confidence and competence in various conditions. The curriculum emphasizes dive planning and problem-solving, equipping you with the skills to anticipate and manage potential issues underwater. This comprehensive training ensures you are well-prepared for the demands of professional diving, building upon your existing rescue diver skills and dive experience. The Divemaster certification unlocks opportunities for further professional development within the dive industry.

To enroll in this advanced program, you must hold a Rescue Diver certification or an equivalent qualification. A current medical certificate, no older than one year, is mandatory, along with a minimum age of 18 years. A prerequisite of at least 60 logged dives is required, with a minimum of 20 dives completed within the last year. Additionally, a valid first aid certification, such as EFR or equivalent, not exceeding two years in age, is necessary. Participants are expected to have cold-water-ready dive equipment, including a dive light, and owning personal gear is strongly recommended at this professional level.

The investment for the Divemaster course is CHF 1,600 for an individual participant. For groups of two or more, the price is reduced to CHF 1,440 per person. Please note that this fee excludes the cost of theory materials, the final PADI course certificate, and PADI membership fees. Participants are responsible for arranging their own insurance coverage. Nemotauchsport AG, based in Switzerland, offers this course in German, adhering to the high standards expected of PADI professional training.
