Deep Diver

The PADI Deep Diver specialty course at this center provides the knowledge and skills to safely explore depths beyond recreational limits, typically up to 40 meters (130 feet). This specialty involves at least three dives, focusing on planning, organization, procedures, techniques, and potential problems associated with deep diving. You will learn about specialized equipment, dive computers, and gas management crucial for deeper excursions. The practical sessions are conducted at local dive sites known for their depth and marine life, offering a real-world application of the learned techniques under the guidance of certified PADI instructors.

This region offers varied diving conditions throughout the year. Water temperatures fluctuate, reaching a low of around 9.9°C (49.8°F) in January and peaking at approximately 28.6°C (83.5°F) in August. While some months experience significant rainfall, such as July with nearly 500mm, others like October are much drier with just over 20mm. These conditions influence visibility and the types of marine encounters possible, making it important to be prepared for different environmental factors when undertaking deep dives. The center is affiliated with both PADI and SSI, allowing certification through your preferred agency.
