The PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) "Advanced Open Water Diver" course is a training program designed to expand your skills and knowledge in recreational diving. It's a natural continuation of the Open Water Diver course, providing you with a solid foundation of basic diving skills.

The Advanced Open Water Diver course consists of several open water adventure dives and a theoretical component. During the course, you will take five different Adventure Dives, each allowing you to explore specific areas of the dive. The most common adventure dives include underwater navigation, deep diving, wreck diving, underwater photography, night diving, among others. These dives are designed to help you gain practical experience in different aspects of diving and push your limits.

The theoretical component of the course is based on additional knowledge on topics related to diving. You will learn more complex dive planning, safety management, advanced underwater navigation, understanding the physiological effects of deeper diving, and other important aspects of becoming a more informed and safe diver.

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is a great way to gain practical experience and specialist knowledge in recreational diving. It allows you to learn new skills and explore different types of diving, helping you feel more comfortable and confident in the water. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, which is internationally recognized and will allow you to dive in a wide range of locations around the world.
