Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver course at Aqua Dive & WaterSports is your entry point to the underwater world, certifying you to dive independently to 18 meters. This comprehensive program includes five knowledge development sessions, which can be completed flexibly through PADI eLearning. You will then master essential scuba skills during five confined water dives, ensuring a solid foundation before progressing to the open water. The practical training involves four open water dives: three from shore and one from a boat, offering diverse experiences of local dive sites. This structured approach guarantees you gain the confidence and competence needed for safe diving.

To begin your certification journey, you must be able to swim 200 meters continuously or float for 10 minutes, and be at least 10 years old. Aqua Dive & WaterSports provides all necessary scuba equipment throughout your training. This globally recognized certification is your passport to exploring the vast majority of dive sites worldwide, opening up a universe of aquatic adventure. An optional upgrade allows converting any shore dive to a boat dive for an additional $35, enhancing your experience and access to different underwater environments.
