Course Description
**Advanced Open Water Diver Course with Scuba Murcia**
Scuba Murcia offers the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, a vital step for certified Open Water Divers aiming to expand their underwater capabilities. This program is structured over two days of diving, featuring five distinct adventure dives. Two dives are mandatory: Deep Diver, which trains you to plan and execute dives up to 30 meters, and Underwater Navigation, honing your compass and natural navigation skills. The remaining three dives are elective, allowing you to tailor your experience with options such as Enriched Air Nitrox, Sidemount, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Photography, or Night Diving, all chosen in consultation with your instructor. This course is designed to build confidence and proficiency, preparing you for more varied and challenging dive sites.
The practical training for this course takes place in the renowned local diving areas of La Manga and Cabo de Palos. These locations are celebrated for their rich marine biodiversity and include the protected Islas Hormigas marine reserve, offering excellent opportunities to encounter diverse sea life. Depending on conditions and student interest, wreck dives, such as exploring the Naranjito, may also be incorporated. Scuba Murcia maintains a low student-to-instructor ratio, with a maximum of four students per class, ensuring personalized attention and a safe learning environment. The maximum depth for certified Advanced Open Water Divers is 30 meters, with a reduced limit of 21 meters for Junior Advanced Open Water Divers aged 12-14.
This course is ideal for divers who have completed their Open Water Diver certification and wish to gain more experience and explore further. It provides a practical foundation for refining essential skills like buoyancy control and dive planning. The instructors at Scuba Murcia are multilingual, ensuring clear communication and a comfortable learning experience for a diverse international clientele. The program emphasizes hands-on application of new techniques under the direct supervision of experienced professionals. By completing this course, you will gain the skills and confidence to plan and execute dives to greater depths and in different conditions, a crucial progression for any serious diver.
Scuba Murcia provides comprehensive support for your learning journey. The course fee of 400 EUR includes equipment rental and e-learning materials.
