Open Water Diver

Aquasport Diving Lanzarote offers the PADI Open Water Diver course, the globally recognized entry-level certification for recreational diving. This comprehensive program equips you with the essential skills and knowledge to explore the underwater world with confidence and safety, allowing you to dive to depths of 18 meters. The course structure progressively develops your abilities, starting with theoretical sessions covering diving principles, safety, and environmental awareness. Practical exercises in confined water, such as a pool or shallow sea, allow you to master fundamental skills like equipment management and buoyancy control.

The program culminates in five open water dives, where you will apply your newly acquired techniques in the diverse marine environments of Lanzarote's reefs. The water temperature in Lanzarote averages around 20.2°C, offering comfortable learning conditions. While specific visibility data is unavailable, the volcanic reefs are known for their rich marine life, offering attractive underwater landscapes for your first dives.

Aquasport Diving Lanzarote accepts participants from 10 years of age, with a medical questionnaire to be completed. The course price of 410 EUR includes the Open Water Diver kit, which typically includes online theory materials for flexible learning. The center is certified by PADI, FFESSM, and SSI, ensuring high training standards. Instruction is available in English, Spanish, and French, catering to a wide range of international students.
