Course Description

The Open Water Diver certification at Fralomar Diving Center is your gateway to exploring the underwater world, with training adhering to international standards set by CMAS, NAUI, PADI, and SSI. This foundational course enables you to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet). Your learning journey is structured into three key phases: comprehensive knowledge development covering diving physics, physiology, and equipment; confined water dives to master essential skills like buoyancy and mask clearing; and finally, open water dives where you'll apply your new abilities in real dive sites. Fralomar Diving Center ensures a thorough and safe learning experience, preparing you for future underwater adventures.

During the confined water sessions, you will practice crucial scuba skills in a controlled environment, ensuring you are comfortable and proficient before progressing. These sessions are vital for building confidence and competence with your equipment. The subsequent open water dives will take place at actual dive sites, allowing you to experience the thrill of diving in natural environments. Fralomar's location provides access to varied dive sites, potentially including calmer reef areas suitable for beginners, where you can gradually increase your depth and apply techniques learned in theory and confined water.

Upon successful completion of the Open Water Diver course, you will receive a globally recognized certification. This credential allows you to plan and execute dives with a buddy in conditions similar to those encountered during your training. Fralomar Diving Center is committed to providing a high-quality educational experience, leveraging their expertise to ensure you become a safe and capable diver. The center's commitment to diver education is reflected in their adherence to rigorous training protocols and their focus on individual student progress.

Fralomar Diving Center offers this certification in Italian, ensuring that local divers can fully engage with the theoretical and practical aspects of the course.
