The SSI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Diving Pula offers a direct route to enhancing your underwater capabilities, moving beyond foundational skills. This program is structured around five distinct open water dives, each drawn from various SSI Specialty programs. This approach allows you to gain exposure to different diving disciplines, such as deep diving, wreck exploration, or navigation, without the commitment of completing full specialty courses. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, a recognized step in your diver progression. The course typically spans three days, integrating theory with practical application.

Pula's waters provide a dynamic environment for advanced training. While specific dive site details are course-dependent, the region is known for its clear Adriatic waters. Sea temperatures in Pula fluctuate throughout the year, ranging from approximately 7.4°C in January to a high of 28.4°C in August, offering varied conditions for training. This course is designed to build confidence and competence in a range of diving scenarios, preparing you for more challenging underwater adventures.

To enroll in the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you must hold at least a Junior Open Water Diver certification or equivalent and be a minimum of 10 years old. A medical questionnaire is a standard requirement, and any affirmative answers necessitate a physician's clearance before commencing training. The course fee includes essential elements for your practical training: five dives, comprehensive online study materials, and your digital certification card. Tanks and weights are also provided, ensuring you have the necessary gear for the dives. Please note that rental equipment is not included in the course price.
