Enriched Air Nitrox

The Enriched Air Nitrox specialty at Kron Diving is a 1-day program covering the planning and execution of dives with oxygen-enriched mixes up to 40%. Kron Diving fills Nitrox on site with two high-performance compressors and a dedicated Nitrox filling station, so the practical side of the course connects directly to real fills that students will use on actual dives from the base.

The course covers extended no-decompression limits, reduced surface intervals compared to air, and the oxygen exposure planning that goes with higher O2 percentages. It's also a prerequisite for the Extended Range Nitrox and Decompression Diving programs that Kron Diving runs as part of its technical curriculum.

Prerequisite is Junior Open Water Diver certification. Duration is 1 day. A medical certificate may be requested. The 1-day format fits easily into a week's diving at the center without taking a full day away from guided dives.

With Andreas's background in Extended Range and technical diving, the Nitrox specialty here is delivered by instructors who use Nitrox and Trimix regularly rather than teaching it as a box-ticking exercise.
