Extended Range 55m

Most places in the world offer spectacular dives to depths greater than 40m. The TDI Extended Range course will provide you with the proper techniques and knowledge to use compressed air to a maximum depth of 55m.

In the TDI Extended Range Diver course you will acquire the necessary training and practice to perform dives up to 55m deep. You will learn the appropriate techniques, what is the necessary equipment and the dangers involved in diving correctly at such depths, with a mandatory decompression stop using Nitrox or oxygen mixtures during it.

In this course we have a lot of theory to deal with and internalize, but we will also enjoy 4 dives. There is, as always, a final exam. You will learn about a wide range of topics, such as the history of deep scuba diving, the physics and physiology of diving at these depths, decompression options, equipment considerations, dive tables, dive planning. and proper procedures.
