Enriched Air Nitrox

Enriched Air is listed as one of Oraclescuba's actively promoted specialty courses, and they describe it as PADI's most popular specialty globally. The premise is straightforward: breathing nitrox — a mix with less nitrogen than standard air — extends no-decompression limits and shortens surface intervals, which is particularly useful on multi-dive days.

An upcoming Enriched Air specialty trip is scheduled for Tioman Island in May 2026, running the same 2-day 2-night weekend format as other Tioman packages. That means completing the course in the same conditions as regular leisure dives — briefing, boat out to the site, dive, debrief — rather than in a classroom-only setting.

For divers planning Tioman, Perhentian, or Semporna trips, the Nitrox certification is a practical addition. Multiple dives per day at those destinations means the extended bottom times translate into real extra time underwater rather than just a theory benefit.
