Course Description
Become an EFR Instructor with The Dive Company and transition into a leadership role within the diving community. This professional-level course is designed for individuals passionate about safety and eager to impart life-saving knowledge. You will gain the skills to teach essential emergency response techniques, including CPR, first aid, and AED usage, empowering others to act confidently in critical situations. As an EFR Instructor, you contribute directly to a safer diving environment by training responsible safety champions.
This program focuses on developing your instructional abilities, ensuring you can effectively guide students through comprehensive training modules. The curriculum is structured to equip you with the expertise needed to deliver high-quality instruction, preparing your students for real-world underwater emergencies. By completing this course, you will be certified to teach the Emergency First Response program, a globally recognized standard for emergency care.
The prerequisite for aspiring EFR Instructors is being at least 18 years old and holding a valid EFR certification within the past 24 months. The course fee of 800 SGD covers essential eLearning and exam components, along with one classroom session. Please note that EFR Instructor application fees are separate and not included in the course price. This investment equips you with the tools to make a significant impact on dive safety preparedness.
