Course Description
The PADI Open Water Referral course at Dive Center Curaçao allows you to complete your certification dives in the vibrant Caribbean waters. This program is designed for individuals who have already finished their PADI Open Water Diver theory and confined water (pool) sessions at another dive center. Upon arrival at Dive Center Curaçao, you will transition seamlessly into the practical application of your skills. The course includes four open water dives, typically conducted at depths up to 18 meters (60 feet), adhering to PADI standards for Open Water Diver certification. These dives will take place at accessible and renowned dive sites around Curaçao, offering a fantastic opportunity to experience the local marine environment under the guidance of experienced PADI professionals.
Curaçao offers exceptional conditions for completing your certification dives. The water temperature remains consistently warm throughout the year, typically ranging from 26°C to 29°C (79°F to 84°F), making wetsuit requirements minimal. Visibility is generally excellent, often exceeding 30 meters (100 feet), which enhances the learning experience and allows for clear observation of the diverse marine life. You can expect to encounter colorful coral formations, various species of reef fish, and potentially larger marine animals. Dive Center Curaçao supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Dutch, ensuring clear communication during your training. Their commitment to PADI standards guarantees a safe and educational experience as you finalize your journey to becoming a certified diver.
