Advanced Open Water

Advance your scuba diving capabilities with the Advanced Open Water Diver course at H2O Scuba Center. This program is designed to build your confidence and expand your skills by introducing you to new types of diving and experiences. You can enroll immediately after achieving your Open Water Diver certification, as the course focuses on developing your diving abilities further. The curriculum includes five Adventure Dives, with mandatory sessions in Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation, pushing your depth limits safely and refining your orientation skills. The remaining three dives can be tailored to your interests, such as underwater photography, peak performance buoyancy, fish identification, or wreck exploration, allowing for a personalized learning path.

This course is structured to provide practical experience under the close supervision of your certified instructor. You will log dives and develop new abilities, discovering more ways to enjoy scuba diving. Each Adventure Dive completed can also count towards the first dive of a corresponding Specialty Diver Course, streamlining your educational journey and making it easier to pursue further certifications. To join, you need to be a (Junior) Open Water Diver aged 12 or older. Young divers may have limitations on certain Adventure Dives, so consulting with your instructor is recommended for a tailored experience.

The Advanced Open Water Diver certification allows you to explore different diving specialties while gaining practical experience.
