ReActivate Experience

The PADI ReActivate program at The Dive Shop is specifically designed for certified divers who want to refresh their skills and knowledge after a period out of the water. This course is also an excellent opportunity for those who have recently acquired new scuba equipment and wish to test it in a controlled environment before embarking on a dive trip. It focuses on reinforcing essential scuba techniques, ensuring you regain confidence and proficiency. The program includes a review of safety information from your initial training and a practical pool session.

During the confined water session, approximately 20 essential scuba skills will be practiced in the heated indoor pool. This hands-on experience is crucial for solidifying your abilities and ensuring you are comfortable with your equipment and dive procedures. The pool session typically lasts around 4 hours, providing ample time for practice and instructor feedback. To begin, you must hold a scuba certification card and be at least 10 years old. The PADI ReActivate online course, valued at $80, is a mandatory component and is included in the total program cost.

The combined cost for the PADI ReActivate program, encompassing both the online course and the pool session, is $120 USD. The Dive Shop provides the necessary instructions and student codes to access the online learning material. For those seeking more personalized attention and flexible scheduling, private ReActivate courses are available at a cost of $170 USD. Both formats aim to refresh your diving knowledge and skills, preparing you for your next underwater adventure with renewed confidence.

Participants are required to bring proof of their existing scuba certification and their personal gear, including a mask, snorkel, boots, and fins, if available. Prior to participation, all students must complete PADI Release Forms and a Medical Statement.
