Advanced Open Water

Elevate your diving skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Fulidhoo Dive, located in the stunning Vaavu Atoll. This certification is designed for already certified divers aiming to expand their underwater capabilities and explore deeper, more challenging dive sites. The program includes five adventure dives, with mandatory Deep Diver and Underwater Navigator specialties. These dives are essential for accessing sites like the famous shark channels of Vaavu Atoll, typically reserved for Advanced Open Water divers and above, allowing you to witness large pelagics in their natural habitat.

The course structure is practical and engaging, comprising five dives and five knowledge reviews, with no final exam. Fulidhoo Dive leverages its prime location for a variety of adventure dives, including Drift Diver, Fish Identification, Night Diver, Underwater Naturalist, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. The Navigation dive is usually conducted in the calm lagoon, while the other four dives are integrated into the center's regular scheduled boat dives, providing a realistic training environment. The typical duration is approximately 2.5 days, offering a focused learning experience.

This comprehensive package at Fulidhoo Dive includes 4 nights of accommodation with a half-board meal plan, full equipment rental, PADI learning materials, and all applicable taxes and service charges. The center emphasizes a customizable experience, allowing divers to add extra days, dives, or excursions, such as the popular Alimatha night dive, though this specific dive is recommended as a separate excursion rather than part of the training.
