Curso Advanced Open Water

The SSI Advanced Adventurer at Hidrospot is five open water dives across five different specialty disciplines — a way to sample what's available in the specialties catalogue before committing to any of them fully. The €260 price includes the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification and all five dives.

The dives happen in Portuguese Atlantic waters, which means the specialties you sample are tested in real conditions. Night diving off Porto's coast is different from night diving in the Mediterranean — visibility and temperature play a role, and that context shapes the training. Whatever specialties you choose to sample, the dives are crediteable toward the full specialty programme if you decide to continue.

For divers who finished their Open Water and aren't sure which direction to take next, this is a practical way to explore without over-committing. Hidrospot's specialty instructor roster covers a wide range — wreck, deep, nitrox, stress and rescue, navigation, boat diving, drysuit, and more — so there's real choice in what you can include in those five dives.

The course is taught in Portuguese and runs alongside Hidrospot's standard scheduling, which accommodates individual availability rather than fixed class blocks.
