Hidrospot's freediving programme runs under Peter Li (Jiaxin Li), who holds SSI Freediving Instructor, AIDA Instructor, and AIDA Youth Instructor credentials. His personal bests — 5'36" static apnea, 130 metres dynamic bifin, 80 metres dynamic no fins, 30 metres constant weight no fins — put him at a competitive level, which matters when you're learning breath-hold technique. The programme runs from a Try Freediving introduction through Pool Freediver to the full SSI Freediver certification.

The centre announced a new era in freediving training with Peter Li's arrival, opening the programme to new students who want to pursue the discipline seriously. Training takes place in the pool for confined-water phases and in open water for depth work.

Sofia Gonçalves, one of the senior instructors, also holds Pool Freediving Instructor certification, so the freediving programme has more than one qualified instructor behind it.
