Open Water Diver

The SSI Open Water Diver certification is your global passport to exploring the underwater world, recognized worldwide for its comprehensive training. At Relaxed Guided Dives, this foundational course equips you with the essential knowledge and skills to safely dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet). The curriculum is structured into three key phases: theoretical knowledge development, confined water skill practice, and four crucial open water dives. You will gain a solid understanding of dive physics, equipment usage, and safety protocols through engaging materials and direct instructor guidance.

Confined water sessions are conducted in a controlled environment, allowing you to master fundamental scuba techniques under close supervision before progressing to real dive sites. The focus is on developing a strong comfort level with your equipment and the underwater environment.

Your journey culminates in four open water dives at actual dive locations, where you'll apply your newly acquired skills in dynamic settings.
