About the Center
Saita Diving is a federated, non-profit diving club located in Barcelona, dedicated to teaching and promoting diving. Certified by SSI and CMAS/FFESSM, it offers a comprehensive range of courses, from beginner to expert levels, including specialties like Enriched Air Nitrox and Technical Diving. The club's mission is to reinvest profits into improving club activities and supporting social and environmental initiatives, with strong ties to the Catalan Federation of Underwater Activities (FECDAS).
Saita Diving's facilities include lockers, WiFi, a bar, equipment rental, a dive shop, and air fills (including Nitrox). The club provides opportunities to discover the underwater world close to Barcelona, specifically in Sant Adrià de Besòs. The diving courses at Saita Diving are structured for all levels. The initiation course allows dives up to 25 meters, the intermediate course (Buceo 2 Estrellas) reaches 40 meters with decompression and prepares for worldwide dives, and the expert course (Buceo 3 Estrellas) permits dives to depths limited by the gas mix, with training for planning and directing complex dives and providing safety support.
All courses include necessary technical equipment, access to educational materials, use of club facilities for theory classes and changing rooms, the federated license with insurance, the first-year membership fee with benefits, course direction by qualified technicians, and supervision by support divers. Indicative prices for 2023 are €370 for the initiation course and €360 for the intermediate and expert courses, with discounts for multiple course enrollments. Sí. Te pediremos demostrar 200 m de nado continuo (estilo libre) y 10 minutos flotando sin apoyo. No exigimos cronómetro, solo soltura en agua.
Si el centro cancela por condiciones del mar, te reasignamos sin coste extra a la siguiente fecha disponible. La decisión la toma el instructor jefe a las 7:00 del día de la salida.
Con lentillas blandas, sin problema. Si llevas gafas, ofrecemos máscaras graduadas estándar (-1 a -8 dioptrías) por 15 € de alquiler/día.
Sí, somos PADI Kids Centre. Desde los 8 años con el Bubblemaker (en piscina, hasta 2 m) y desde los 10 con el Open Water Junior.
No, tu carnet PADI/SSI es vitalicio. Sí recomendamos un curso de repaso ("Scuba Tune-Up") si llevas más de 12 meses sin bucear.
