About the Center

Plongée Kornog Carquefou is an associative diving and freediving club located in Carquefou, to the northeast of Nantes, France. The club offers a comprehensive range of training courses for all levels, from Discover Scuba Diving to Level 3, as well as Nitrox and RIFAP courses. They also collaborate with the Departmental Committee to support members in their Level 4 and Instructor training.

The club's activities include regular pool training sessions, held every Tuesday evening at the Piscine Daniel Gilard. The pool is strategically divided to accommodate different groups: those preparing for Level 1 occupy the section closest to the entrance, followed by freedivers later in the evening. The middle section is designated for Level 2 divers and above, while the garden area is for those preparing for Level 2.

Plongée Kornog Carquefou actively participates in various events and initiatives, such as Handisub training, Level 1 validations, participation in awareness campaigns like Pink October, and attendance at the 2026 Dive Show in Paris. The center also provides equipment rental, air fills (including nitrox), and facilitates boat diving.

The club emphasizes safety and continuous learning, aiming to provide a welcoming and professional learning environment. Their dedication is evident in the various FFESSM certification levels offered and their Ecosub® label, which highlights their commitment to protecting the underwater environment.
