Scuba Diver
This basic certification course is designed for individuals who want a lifetime diving license but have limited time during their stay in Cartagena. The program is a subset of the full Open Water course, covering the first three theoretical modules and confined water sessions in two days. The certification is valid worldwide, permitting the holder to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters when accompanied by a certified dive professional. The academic training includes studying the first three chapters of the PADI manual and completing classroom quizzes with an instructor. The practical training includes confined water practice followed by two open water dives at separate sites around Tierra Bomba Island. The course counts toward the full Open Water Diver certification, allowing students to upgrade at a later date without repeating any training. The package includes the PADI manual, certification processing fees, full brand-name gear rental, and boat transfers. Daily day passes to enjoy the pool and beach facilities at the Blue Apple Beach Club are also included on both training days.

Our club is based in Annecy Seynod, France. The local office and equipment facility are located at 10 avenue Jean Clerc, 74600 Seynod, right next to the Île Bleue swimming pool.
The club is equipped with a 9 m³/h compressor and four 50-liter buffer cylinders capable of charging tanks up to 350 bar. This allows for quick refills at the end of dives.
From early November to mid-April, we run weekly pool training sessions on Wednesday evenings from 20:00 to 22:00. We train on reserved lane eight at the Piscine de l'Île Bleue in Seynod.
Yes, Aquateam welcomes young divers starting from eight years of age. We provide morphologically adapted gear, including regulators, wetsuits, and buoyancy jackets, to ensure their comfort and safety.
We are affiliated with the French FFESSM federation (number 14740361) and have youth and sports approval W741000322. Our training and visual inspections conform to national standards.
Yes, members regularly organize group travels. We have hosted annual diving excursions to Safaga in Egypt from 2023 through 2025, as well as outings to the Mediterranean and Red Sea.
