About the Center
Cassis Calanques Plongée, situated in the heart of the Calanques National Park in Cassis, France, is a dive center with a rich history dating back to 1956. The center offers a wide range of diving courses, from Discover Scuba Diving experiences to advanced technical diving training, with certifications from SSI, CMAS/FFESSM, and TDI. Its facilities include equipment rental, a dive shop, and air fills for nitrox and trimix.
Ideally located on the port of Cassis, 30 km from Marseille, Cassis Calanques Plongée allows for the exploration of some of the most stunning dive sites in the Mediterranean. The center organizes boat diving and night diving excursions, and is managed by Jean-Marie Sola, an experienced instructor trainer in technical diving, and his wife Marie Sola. Their team of professional instructors is qualified to provide training for individuals and groups.
The prime location within the Calanques National Park grants access to exceptional dive sites, stretching from Marseille to La Ciotat, including the renowned Cosquer Cave, discovered at a depth of 36 meters. The center is equipped with changing rooms, a classroom for courses, and MARES diving equipment, which is regularly renewed to ensure safety and quality.
Cassis Calanques Plongée provides experiences for all levels, from novice divers to seasoned technical divers, ensuring an unforgettable dive in an exceptional natural setting.
