The most convenient option is a private taxi directly to Maya Port. The last public ferry leaves around 4:30 PM. If you miss it, there are simple accommodations near the port.
For dives at Kimud Shoal and Gato Island, Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent experience is usually required. If you are unsure, the dive center will check and match the dives to your level.
Cancellations up to 7 days before the booking incur a 30% fee. Cancellations up to 3 days before incur a 50% fee. Cancellations less than 72 hours before the activity result in full payment.
