About the Center
TauchRevierGasometer, located in Duisburg, Germany, is a distinguished dive center boasting the largest indoor diving pool in Europe. This impressive facility holds 21 million liters of water, featuring a diameter of 45 meters and a depth of 13 meters, providing ample space for practice and underwater exploration.
The center is SSI certified and offers a range of diving courses, including Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, and the Instructor Development Course. In addition to courses, TauchRevierGasometer provides guided dives and shore diving opportunities, allowing divers to experience the unique environment.
Facilities include parking, a bar, a swimming pool, equipment rental, a dive shop, air fills (nitrox, trimix), and shore diving capabilities. The water temperatures within the Gasometer, heated solely by solar energy, can often reach over 22°C in the summer, offering a comfortable diving experience.
The water temperatures are continuously monitored. The center also hosts public diving days on Saturdays and Sundays, with specific operating hours and recommendations for advance booking to ensure a better distribution of divers.
