The Open Water course includes the SSI study kit (online), access to the SSI APP, logbook, necessary diving equipment for the course (including computer and buoy), dive insurance during the course, experienced SSI instructors, and an online diver card. The boat for reaching dive sites is also included. Additionally, they offer benefits like pure air fills and discounts on future activities and Cressi equipment.

The Open Water course typically lasts about 4 days. Days 1 and 2 involve theory and pool exercises in Cádiz (El Puerto de Santa María) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Days 3 and 4 consist of sea exercises and four dives in Tarifa, also from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The waters in Tarifa offer high biodiversity due to the meeting of the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Divers can expect to see octopuses, damselfish, sea bream, starfish, sea urchins, nudibranchs, small manta rays, and turtles. Visibility is around 10 meters.

For activities, cancellations with 15-20 days notice allow for a refund. For courses, the deposit is generally non-refundable but can be exchanged for other courses or activities. Refunds for courses are only possible if a doctor deems the participant unfit to dive. Booked activities have a 1-year validity unless otherwise specified by the center.

PuertoBuceo uses a BAUER PURE AIR STATION certified system, ensuring the air in their dive tanks is 100% pure and healthy. Regular tests guarantee that humidity levels are well below maximum tolerances, and there are no traces of oils, CO, or CO2, complying with EN 12021:2004 standards.
