FORMAR

FORMAR is a maritime training center recognized by the Government of the Principality of Asturias, located in Gijón, Spain. It offers official certifications valid throughout the national territory in the field of sport and professional diving. The center provides personalized technical advice to help students choose the most suitable courses according to their profile and professional goals.

The available courses range from Discover Scuba Diving to Instructor Development Courses, as well as specializations in technical and night diving, certified by SSI. The facilities are designed for maritime training, featuring classrooms, projection rooms, changing rooms with showers, and a filling station. Its proximity to the port of El Musel allows for practical training directly in the marine environment, ensuring that future professionals are well-prepared for their working environment.

FORMAR boasts a team of highly qualified professionals in medicine, biology, and diving, who contribute their extensive experience to ensure professional and safe training. Practical sessions are conducted in both confined waters and open sea, and all courses include medical examinations, theoretical, and practical materials. The center also provides services such as equipment rental, air (including nitrox) fills, and airport transfers.
