CALYPSO DIVING ESTARTIT

Calypso Diving Estartit, a family-run dive center with nearly 40 years of experience, is led by Peter Lane and his wife Jacqueline, a Divemaster. Located in L'Estartit, Spain, within the protected Natural Park of Montgrí, the Medes Islands, and the Baix Ter, the center offers a comprehensive range of PADI courses, from Discover Scuba Diving up to Divemaster, as well as specialty courses and Instructor Development Courses. They also provide introductory dives for those looking to try it for the first time.

Calypso Diving's facilities include lockers, WiFi, a bar, accommodation, equipment rental, a dive shop, air fills (nitrox), and boat diving services. The center organizes daily trips to the Medes Islands and the Montgrí coast, with options for night diving, boat diving, and guided dives. Its location in L'Estartit, a coastal town renowned for its nature reserve, provides an ideal setting for divers and families alike.

Calypso Diving Estartit is committed to environmental conservation and protection, being a proud partner of Europarc's European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS), an ambassador center for Longitude 181, and a recipient of the PADI Green Star™ award. They hold the 'Environmental Quality Guarantee Seal' and continuously monitor their carbon footprint, working to improve their processes and reduce their environmental impact.

The languages spoken at the center are Spanish, Catalan, German, French, Russian, and English. The center operates one-tank boat diving trips, with flexible schedules depending on the day and season, offering pick-up from accommodation and equipment transport to the port.
