About the Center

Aqualis Diving Center Hvar, a PADI and SSI dive center located in Hvar, Montenegro, invites diving enthusiasts to explore the depths of the Adriatic Sea. Spearheaded by passionate owners Zsanett and Robert, who left their homeland of Hungary to pursue their dream on the stunning Hvar Island, the center embodies their deep connection to water, as suggested by its Latin-derived name. Situated in the picturesque Mala Garska Bay, the center boasts breathtaking views and seamless access to the sea and boats. This prime location facilitates straightforward PADI and SSI courses, including try dives for non-certified individuals with direct beach entry to a shallow training area (0-120 cm), ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all skill levels.

Aqualis Diving Center Hvar offers diverse diving experiences, including morning two-tank dives, leaving ample time for afternoon activities, and guided boat dives to over 15 different dive sites, suitable for beginners through to professionals. Snorkeling excursions, ideal for the whole family, are also available and can be enhanced with SEABOB or SEABIKE. For those looking to try diving, discovery dives are offered from the age of 10. The center is also dedicated to handicapped diving, following the motto: 'There’s a world where weightlessness replaces gravity and ability replaces disability.' Safety is paramount, with highly trained, multilingual professionals, top-notch equipment, and stringent standards ensuring a personalized and fun experience.

Facilities include lockers, a bar, a swimming pool, and equipment rental, along with air fills (including nitrox). The center accommodates both shore and night diving. Divers can enjoy the convenience of a purpose-built dive boat equipped with a roof, fridge, and toilet, or opt for a more spacious RIB boat. Access to boats is easy and barrier-free. Post-dive, divers can relax at the center's exclusive beach bar. Aqualis Diving Center Hvar speaks Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, and Catalan, ensuring guests from various nationalities feel welcome.

What people ask before booking

Each diver needs to book separately due to essential data requirements. For internet bookings, the full amount is due prior to the first dives. Discounts are available for multi-day packages and early bookings. Full payment is required for group and family bookings upon booking.

Payments are non-refundable 15 days prior to arrival. A 30% refund is given for cancellations between 16-29 days, and 65% for cancellations between 30 days and 3 months. Cancellations made over 3 months prior are fully refundable. No-shows result in the loss of full payment.

Yes, for divers who haven't dived for over a year, a refresher course is mandatory. If a refresher is not booked and divemasters deem safety to be an issue, entry into the water will not be permitted. A shore-based skill dive is recommended for those needing to refresh skills or adapt to cold water and 7mm wetsuits.

Full equipment rental for a single dive is 29 EUR, and for a full day (2 dives) is 35 EUR. Individual pieces of equipment like BCD, regulator, or wetsuit can also be rented per dive or per day.

You can try diving without certification from the age of 10. For PADI Discover Scuba Diving or SSI try diving experiences, participants must be at least 10 years old and in reasonable physical health.

Hvar boasts over 15 dive locations, primarily within the Pakleni Islands archipelago. Favorite sites include Vodnjak, Stambedar, Vela Garska, Paulina Wreck, Poseidon Pillar, Baba Reef, Robert's Wall, and Anchor Wall. The schedule is decided daily based on weather and diver experience.
